Travel Reservation System “Power Agent”

Revelex Power Agent is an advanced travel reservation system for travel agencies. It aggregates cruise, flight, hotel and other booking functionality. The system has been rewritten from the ground up using latest development methodologies. The system shares a common core but can be customized to the individual client’s requirements.

My contribution:

• Technical analysis, planning, time estimates, communication with the stakeholders
• Front-end code architecture of the reservation system
• PHP/Smarty template inheritance structure that facilitates customization while preserving the core functionality
• Front-end development of parts of the UI (ZURB Foundation Framework)
• Custom search, sort and filter functionality using Backbone.js, Require.js, Handlebars, Moment, etc. [Code sample]
• Planning, task assignment, code reviews, and support to 2 other developers assigned to this project
